The internet was very different from what it’s like today. Back then, we had Vine – a platform that many consider to be where and how short-form videos started. The classic, not 15, but six-second-max, video platform, Vine went overboard with short-form, which is great for fans of funny cat videos. Though it’s no longer available, many funny cat vines were re-uploaded on various outlets – such as TikTok and YouTube – to be enjoyed still today.

Let’s start our list of funny cat vines with a classic one – the Wrecking Ball kitty! When it comes to vines, many of the uploaded videos can’t be explained as to how some Vine uploaders even came up with the concept of the clip!
We do know, however, that Miley Cyrus’ Wrecking Ball was a big hit – and yes, Vine still existed when the song was released. Therefore, it’s not too outlandish to use the singer’s song for a Vine. But what’s somewhat outlandish (but hilarious, nonetheless) is to pretend that your kitten is a wrecking ball!
But hey, the randomness of the clip is most likely why this Vine became a classic!

Feline or human, lots of us would probably react the same way this cat did – because the flower seems very strange to the cat! But the cat probably sniffed the unfamiliar scents of the flower. And a cat’s nose is very sensitive!

If only cats could talk. But now that we think about it, we’re not exactly sure what they’d sound like. Will they be eloquent creatures? Or will they randomly blurt out slang words like this vine? Because cats uttering trendy words would sure be hilarious (and kind of on-brand with some cats)!

Watching vines will surely get you to take a walk down memory lane. Because this cat vine was also uploaded during the time that dubstep was at its peak.
