Hilarious Cats Reaction to Being Sat on By Dog

Contrary to popular belief, lots of cats and dogs get along – especially if they have the same “hooman” parents. But just like the internet lore makes it to be, cats do seem to be the grumpy counterpart of the “derpy” pups – and you can just tell based on these cats’ reaction to being sat on by dog!

Ultimate Frenemies: Cats Reaction to Being Sat on By Dog

  1. “If I fits, I sits!” – Dog (maybe)

When it comes to cats and dogs, usually, it’s the cat who instigates trouble. But not in this video – the poor kitty was just minding its own business until the dog sat on them! The cat’s reaction, however, is hilarious – they didn’t know how to react (or they probably just couldn’t move due to the dog’s weight).

In the end, both the kit and pup stared at their human as though they wanted their owner to intervene. To be fair, based on the size of the pet bed, it does seem like it’s meant for doggo!

  1. “Did you record that, Mr. Camera?”

Here’s another video of a cat’s reaction to being sat on by dog – where doggo is (yet again) clueless that they’re sitting on their feline pal! The video (which was uploaded via Facebook by LADbible) shows a gray tabby cat playing on the pet bed.

Suddenly, a full-grown German Shepherd dog sat on the cat – and the cat comically (and cartoonishly) struggled to move their face away from the pup’s rear! Afterward, the kitty looked at the camera seemingly wondering if the camera recorded the hilarious incident!

  1. “Two’s a company – three’s a crowd”

You could say that cats and dogs get along the most when they both are relaxing – it’s almost the only time when they match each other’s energy levels! And this video is a testament to that – but not for long!

In this video, you can see how one cat is snuggling one resting dog’s tail – until another dog decided to join them. Not only did the second dog disturb the cat’s cozy slumber, but doggo also decided to sit on the cat. The result? A little wail! But don’t worry – the cat wasn’t hurt, but it was definitely upset that it got a rude awakening!

  1. Freeze!

The cat and dog duo in this video seem to be best buds. In the first part of the clip, you can see that kit and pup are gently playing with each other. Until the dog decided to sit on the cat. This seems to have surprised the cat – and it took them a few seconds before they could react.

  1. The hunter gets hunted

In this video, you can see these pets in their natural habitat – their home! But even if it’s just a few seconds, you can already tell a lot about their ancestors’ predatory behavior: doggo viciously “attacks” its plush toy, and kit sneakily hunts its prey – aka the dog’s tail!

The dog in the video was too busy to even pay attention to what their cat sibling was doing. And funnily, the cat was so focused on catching the dog’s tail that it failed to realize that the pup’s behind was backing up closer to kit’s face – until it was too late!

Bonus: Here’s a GIF of a cat’s reaction to being sat on by dog!

Because we can’t get enough of how these frenemies comically coexist!
